Whitney Urner is an NCCPA board certified Physician Assistant. After earning her B.S. in Biology at Point Loma Nazarene University, she went on to pursue a career in healthcare, graduating with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Samuel Merritt University in 2012. Whitney spent the first 7 years of her career working in emergency medicine before transitioning to work in dermatology. After enjoying the opportunity to work at the Melanoma clinic at CPMC in San Francisco, Whitney joined the team at DCEB and now works closely with Dr. Plotke. Whitney is proficient in treating various skin conditions, performing biopsies, cosmetic removal of moles and skin tags, cosmetic injections, and AviClear laser treatment of acne.
