Dr. Teekz Yenpasook is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He is deeply committed to providing culturally sensitive, inclusive care for LGBTQ+ populations and Black, Brown, and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC). Dr. Yenpasook is passionate about addressing health disparities and advancing education in skin of color dermatology, ensuring equitable access to care for all his patients. He is deeply compassionate about practicing evidence-based medicine and empowering the public through education on social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok at @DermDrTeekz.

Dr. Yenpasook earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Physiology with Honors from the University of California, San Diego, and his Master of Science and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University California. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Minnesota, where he served as the Cosmetic Chief Resident and directed a specialized free dermatology health clinic for underrepresented and uninsured minority populations. He received comprehensive training from renowned experts in the field, including hair specialists Dr. Maria Hordinsky and Dr. Ronda Farah. He further refined his expertise in advanced cosmetic and laser procedures under the mentorship of Dr. Brian Zelickson, Dr. Ardalan Minokadeh, and laser expert Dr. Eric Bernstein.

Throughout his medical career, Dr. Yenpasook has held multiple leadership positions within the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), serving as an AAD Resident Ambassador. He has been awarded numerous distinctions for his dedicated work with underserved communities, including the Kaiser Northern California Medical Student Scholarship, the Napa/Solano County Medical Society Scholarship, and a Health Equity Scholarship. An active speaker at national dermatologic conferences—including the AAD, ASDS, and ASLMS—he has been published widely across medical journals, online media, magazines, and textbook chapters. He was named Student Doctor of the Year at Touro University California, honored as the National Student Doctor of the Year, and inducted into both the Sigma Sigma Phi and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. He remains dedicated to mentoring underrepresented minority pre-med and medical students, fostering the next generation of physicians.

Dr. Yenpasook has a passion for both cosmetic and medical dermatology and welcomes patients to see him for: Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, Juvéderm®, Restylane®, Sculptra®, Radiesse®, Belotero®, IPL/BBL, Fraxel®, CO2 laser, CoolSculpting®, Microneedling, and PRP. His clinical practice also focuses on complex inflammatory diseases like Hidradenitis Suppurativa, pigmentary disorders—including melasma, hyperpigmentation, and vitiligo—as well as acne, acne scarring, warts, eczema, psoriasis, and hair loss. Born and raised in East Oakland, he is proud to return to the East Bay to serve the community that shaped him. In his free time, Dr. Yenpasook enjoys weightlifting, cooking, traveling, social justice advocacy, mentorship and spending quality time with his partner and family.
