Kamilah Crawford
Kamilah Crawford graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Communication in 2001. She became an esthetician in 2003 after attending Paris Beauty College in Concord, CA. In 2004, she began working at a plastic surgery office, providing skincare to cosmetic and burn patients, including those from Saint Francis Memorial Bothin Burn Center in San Francisco, CA. This experience shifted her focus from spa treatments to a medical perspective.
In 2013, Kamilah became certified in Thai massage after training at the Thailand Massage School of Chiang Mai. Following four years dedicated to her massage practice, she returned to medical skincare in 2017 and now works at the Dermatology Center of the East Bay, offering chemical peels and HydraFacials. Her background working with physicians allows her to both relax and treat skin conditions.
Kamilah’s passion for skincare stems from her struggles with acne and hyperpigmentation as a teenager. She is dedicated to maintaining and correcting skin conditions, aiming to bring her patients’ skin and bodies to a healthy, relaxed state.
