Georgia Bringas Rabara, RN
Georgia Bringas Rabara, a registered nurse (RN) specializing in cosmetic dermatology, is a distinguished graduate nursing student at Samuel Merritt University (SMU) in Oakland, California. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing, a testament to her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Concurrently, she is also earning her family nurse practitioner (FNP) certification, a significant step towards her goal of a medical and cosmetic dermatology career as a board-certified FNP. Her dedication to her patient’s well-being is evident in her love for working with them to achieve their healthiest and happiest skin care state as safely as possible. She provides a range of cosmetic treatments, including Botox, Excel-V, IPL, Fraxel, Legend Pro, Thermage, electrodesiccation, and Microneedling/Skin Pen.
Georgia’s professional journey demonstrates her passion for healthcare and her dedication to her patients. She’s an East Bay native who grew up in Oakland, California, and attended the University of California, Berkeley. She earned her first bachelor’s degree in Ethnic Studies, influenced by her love of the Bay Area’s vibrant and diverse cultures. Inspired by the legacy of nurses in her family, she pursued an additional Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from SMU. Her association with the Dermatology Center of the East Bay began as a patient in her youth and later as a summer intern/medical assistant, mentored by Dr. Jason Fung, MD and Quynhly Nguyen Fujinaka, FNP-BC. Today, she works as a cosmetic RN, having trained with all the esteemed cosmetic providers within the practice.
When she is not in the office, Georgia enjoys hula dancing, a hobby that brings her joy and balance. She also loves baking treats to share with family, friends, and colleagues, a way for her to show her care and appreciation. Her partner, Brandon, and pup, Kevin Katsu, are her pillars of support and sources of happiness, emphasizing the importance of personal relationships in her life.
