Dr. Jason Wang is a board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Originally from the Midwest, he grew up in the Seattle metropolitan area and graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a bachelor’s degree in music, earning induction into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. During his undergraduate years, Dr. Wang deepened his passion for music composition through an exchange program at the University of Oxford, Worcester College.

 

He continued his academic journey at New York University School of Medicine, obtaining his MD along with a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation. In medical school, he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and received the President’s Service Award for his dedication to community service. Dr. Wang completed his dermatology residency at the University of California, San Francisco and has published articles in esteemed medical journals, such as JAMA, the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Pediatric Dermatology.

 

Dr. Wang approaches patient care with empathy, integrating his passion for music and medicine to help individuals of all skin types, ages, gender identities, and sexual orientations. He is fluent in Mandarin and served as a certified bilingual clinician throughout his medical training. In his leisure time, Dr. Wang enjoys attending the symphony, opera, and ballet, spending quality time with family, exploring the Bay Area, reading novels, and traveling around the world.
