Quynhly Nguyen Fujinaka is an ANCC board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology who brings years of experience to Dermatology Center of the East Bay. She is passionate about making connections with her patients and working together to achieve the skin they have always wanted.

Quynhly was born and raised in Union City, California. She attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and minor in Psychology and Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree with highest honors. During her graduate studies at Simmons University, Quynhly was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship, Susan Neary Excellence in Clinical Practice Award, elected class president, elected graduating class speaker, and inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. After completing her studies, Quynhly worked in dermatology in private practice in Boston, MA and San Jose, CA before joining Dermatology Center of the East Bay in 2019 where she was mentored by Dr. Jason Fung.

Quynhly is experienced in management of medical dermatology conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, alopecia areata, skin and nail infections, skin cancer, and skin cancer screenings. She offers procedures, such as cryotherapy, biopsy, mole removal, skin cancer removal, cyst removal, lipoma removal, wart removal, and keloid injection. She also provides cosmetic treatments, including Botox, Excel V, IPL, Fraxel, Thermage, Legend Pro, Microneedling, CoolSculpting, and extractions.

Quynhly is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and American Nurses Association.

When she is not in the office, Quynhly spends her time with her husband and son, traveling, competing in triathlons, and enjoying the outdoors.
